Your barbershop, gym or SaaS subscription bills are due on the 5th. You want to stop chasing customers on WhatsApp and let recurring PIX run on autopilot. PixGo: once your account is validated, the plan is ready in 5 minutes, no CNPJ, no monthly fee, no developer required.
- Create plan at /recurrence: name, value, due day — 5 min
- Get link
/payment/<slug-or-id>or QR Code to share via WhatsApp/IG - Customer subscribes once and gets each month's charge with automatic reminders — they just pay the PIX
- No monthly fee: 2% per sale (+ R$1 on sales from R$10 to R$49.99) and R$0.50 per transfer to your wallet
- Signup as individual — username, e-mail, Telegram/WhatsApp contact and password; then PixGo validates your account (no CNPJ needed)
- Not auto-debit: each cycle the system creates the charge, the subscriber gets an e-mail notice and pays the PIX
- Receive DePix on D+1; swap for USDT or cash out PIX on PixGo Wallet
Who needs recurring PIX
If you charge the same value from the same customer every month, automatic recurrence is gold. Removes "remember to send PIX request" from your mind, and removes "remember to pay" from the customer's mind.
| Business | Typical charge | Hours saved/month |
|---|---|---|
| Barbershop (subscription club) | R$60-120/mo per client | 3-5h chasing WhatsApp |
| Gym / CrossFit box | R$120-250/mo per athlete | 5-8h + reduced defaults |
| Salon / nail studio (pkg) | R$80-180/mo | 2-4h plus SMS reminders |
| Mentor / coach | R$200-500/mo | 2-3h individual collections |
| SaaS / micro-software | R$29-99/mo per user | no Stripe overhead |
| Language school / tutoring | R$150-300/mo per student | 4-6h messaging parents |
| Therapist / psychologist | R$200-400/mo packages | 2-3h awkward billing |
| Online classes (yoga, language) | R$50-150/mo | 3-5h group collection |
Charge monthly fees and subscriptions via PIX, with an email reminder before each due date. See PIX recurring billing.
Create accountHow it works on PixGo (5 min plan setup)
No developer, integration, plugin or anything. Just click and share.
Step 1 — Register and link your wallet
- Go to pixgo.org/cadastro
- Fill in: username (unique, no spaces), email, contact (@telegram or WhatsApp) and password. Get a code via email, validate and you are in
- Create your PixGo Wallet at wallet.pixgo.org (or use another Liquid network wallet) and save and validate the address in My Profile
- After sign-up, PixGo validates your account. Each payer is still identified by the payment partner on every PIX.
Important: individuals accepted. No need to open a company to start.
Step 2 — Create the plan
- Logged in, go to /recurrence (or via "My Store" → "Recurring plans")
- Click New plan
- Fill in:
- Plan name: e.g. "Premium Barbershop Membership"
- Value: e.g. R$80.00
- Due day: e.g. 5th of each month
- Description (optional): "Includes 4 cuts + beard"
- Billing frequency: one-time, daily, weekly, biweekly, monthly, quarterly, semiannual or yearly
- Save
Step 3 — Get the link and share
PixGo automatically generates:
- Direct link:
pixgo.org/payment/<slug-or-id>— share on WhatsApp/IG/email - QR Code: print and stick at the barbershop/gym front desk
- Shortcuts: copy link, share via WhatsApp/Telegram/email and download the QR
Step 4 — Customer signs up (once)
- Customer opens link
- Sees: plan name, value, due day
- Clicks Subscribe → enters the CPF or CNPJ of who will pay (always required) and the extra fields you configured for the plan (name, e-mail, phone, etc)
- Confirms: monthly PIX billing
- Gets confirmation email + reminder 2 days before due date
Step 5 — Runs on its own
On the due day, the PixGo system:
- Sends the customer an e-mail with the "Pagar com PIX" (Pay with PIX) button for the month's charge
- Customer pays PIX (~3 seconds)
- System confirms and marks as paid
- You receive DePix on D+1 (in PixGo Wallet or cash out via PIX)
- If customer doesn't pay: they get a final notice and the subscription is cancelled automatically; if you chose to keep it active and charge late fees/interest, they keep getting periodic overdue e-mails
Comparison: PixGo vs OpenPix vs Asaas vs Vindi
| Item | PixGo | OpenPix | Asaas | Vindi |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Fixed monthly fee | R$0 | R$0-R$99 | R$19-R$150 | R$200+ |
| % per PIX transaction | 2% (+ R$1 from R$10 to R$49.99) + R$0.50 per transfer | ~0.99%-1.99% | ~1.99% | ~1.49% + R$1.49 |
| CNPJ required to start | No (PF ok) | Yes (PJ for recurring) | PF limited | Yes (PJ) |
| Setup time | 5 min per plan, once the account is validated (link/QR direct) | 30 min-2h (API) | 20 min-1h | 1 day (setup) |
| Receive in crypto | Yes (DePix/USDT) | No | No | No |
| Portuguese support | Yes, human | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Webhook + API | Yes (free) | Yes | Yes | Yes (paid plan) |
| Ready subscription link | Yes (no-code) | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| D+1 settlement | Yes | D+0 to D+1 | D+1 to D+30 (card) | D+1 (plan dependent) |
| PIX out cash withdraw | Yes (via Wallet PIX button / Crypix, streamlined process) | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Money locked in exchange | No (self-custody) | Bank account | Bank account | Bank account |
Bottom line: for small-medium businesses, with no monthly fee PixGo tends to cost less than Vindi/Asaas (see the scenarios below) and offers a crypto option.
Practical cases — real scenarios
Case 1 — Barbershop "Premium Club"
- 60 subscribers
- R$80/month each (4 cuts + beard)
- Recurring revenue: R$4,800/month
- Before (manual WhatsApp): 4h/month collecting + 15% default rate
- After (PixGo): 0h and ~3% default rate (automatic reminders)
- PixGo cost: 60 × R$80 × 2% = R$96/month in fees + R$0.50 transfer per day with payments (one daily transfer adds up that day's payments)
- Net revenue: R$4,704/month, minus R$0.50 per day with payments
- Vindi equivalent: R$200 monthly + 1.49% = R$271.52 → saving R$175.52/month, minus R$0.50 per day with payments
Case 2 — Gym / CrossFit box
- 80 athletes
- R$120/month each
- Revenue: R$9,600/month
- PixGo setup: 1 plan "Athlete Membership" + 1 plan "Drop-in" — 10 min
- Total fee: R$192/month (2% of R$9,600) + R$0.50 transfer per day with payments
- Asaas equivalent: R$99 monthly + 1.99% = R$290 → saving R$98/month, minus R$0.50 per day with payments
Case 3 — Mentoring / coach
- 12 mentees
- R$300/month each
- Revenue: R$3,600/month
- Extra advantage: customer pays in PIX, you accumulate USDT to hedge Real
- PixGo fee: R$72/month (2%) + R$0.50 transfer per day with payments
- Vindi equivalent: R$200 + 1.49% = R$253.64 → saving R$181.64/month, minus R$0.50 per day with payments
Case 4 — SaaS / micro-software
- 50 subscribers
- R$49/month each (pro plan)
- Revenue: R$2,450/month
- Since charges from R$10 to R$49.99 pay 2% + R$1 flat, fee = R$49 + R$50 = R$99, + R$0.50 transfer per day with payments
- PixGo webhook unlocks SaaS access automatically (see /blog/api-recorrencia)
- Stripe BR equivalent: 2.99% + R$0.39 = R$92.77 → here PixGo costs R$6.23/month more, plus R$0.50 per day with payments; a plan of R$50 or more leaves the R$1 flat-fee tier
| Scenario R$10,000/mo recurring | PixGo | OpenPix | Asaas | Vindi |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly fee | R$0 | R$49 | R$99 | R$200 |
| Transaction fee (avg) | R$200 (2% of 100 charges of R$100) + R$0.50 per day with payments | R$150 (1.5%) | R$199 (1.99%) | R$149 (1.49%) |
| Total cost / month | R$200 + R$0.50 per day with payments | R$199 | R$298 | R$349 |
| Annual cost | R$2,400 + R$0.50 per day with payments | R$2,388 | R$3,576 | R$4,188 |
| Annual saving vs Vindi | R$1,788, minus R$0.50 per day with payments | R$1,800 | R$612 | — |
In this scenario, OpenPix is cheaper per transaction (but has a small free-tier cap); PixGo comes in below Asaas and Vindi and is the only one that settles in crypto.
PixGo extra edge: receive in crypto
This is the off-curve differentiator. Every recurrence paid via PIX becomes DePix (Real-backed stablecoin, 1:1) in your PixGo Wallet. From there you decide:
- Cash out PIX: becomes Real and lands in the recipient's bank account via the Wallet PIX button or Crypix.me — streamlined process, no extra PixGo signup
- Swap for USDT (digital dollar) via BrSwap — hedge against Real devaluation
- Hold in DePix: 1:1 with Real, zero maintenance cost, self-custody
- Buy BTC or L-BTC for DCA / hodl
This flow doesn't exist on Asaas/Vindi/OpenPix. Details: Receive PIX in dollars (USDT) and MEI receiving crypto.
Technical integration (no-code OR with API)
Path 1: no-code
This is the path most people take. Create plan, get link, send WhatsApp. Done. PixGo handles billing, reminder, reconciliation.
- Subscription link:
pixgo.org/payment/<slug-or-id> - QR Code: ready PNG image in dashboard
- Copy link and share via WhatsApp, Telegram or email right from the dashboard
- Dashboard shows active subscribers, overdue, monthly revenue
Path 2: with API (to integrate with existing system)
If you have a SaaS, e-commerce, app, or proprietary ERP, you can integrate via API and webhook:
- The API has no recurrence endpoint: if you need to integrate, you build your own routine
- On each due date, your system creates the charge with
POST /api/v1/payment/create - Receive webhook on every confirmed payment

FAQ — PixGo recurring billing
Do I need CNPJ to create recurring plans?
No. PixGo signup uses username + e-mail + contact (Telegram/WhatsApp) + password, and then PixGo validates your account. You operate as an individual, no company needed — payer identification is still handled by the payment partner on every PIX. Details at CNPJ or MEI on PixGo?
Does the customer need to create a PixGo account to pay?
No. They enter the CPF or CNPJ of who will pay (required) and fill in the extra fields you enabled on the plan (name, email, phone). They don't create a "PixGo account" in the traditional sense. Works as a direct payment per billing cycle.
Is it auto-debit or Pix Automático?
No. The Central Bank's Pix Automático exists, but PixGo recurring billing works by issuing a charge each cycle: the subscriber gets an e-mail notice and pays the Pix. PixGo does not debit the customer's account.
What if the customer wants to cancel?
You cancel it, in the /recurrence dashboard. The subscriber portal shows plan, value, due date and status, with the "Pagar com Pix" (Pay with Pix) button — there is no cancel option. No mandatory lock-in — PixGo doesn't trap customers.
What if payment fails on the day?
PixGo sends an e-mail notice on the due day. If payment doesn't come in, what you chose on the plan applies: cancel automatically (the customer gets a final notice first) or keep active and charge late fees/interest (the customer keeps getting periodic overdue e-mails). The dashboard shows who is overdue.
Can I change the plan value after creating?
Yes. You adjust the value on the plan; existing subscribers keep the value they had, and you can change each subscriber's value in the dashboard.
Discount for annual / prepaid?
Yes. You create 2 plans: "Monthly R$80" and "Annual R$800" (12 months for the price of 10) — customer picks. PixGo doesn't force a model: you design it your way.
Works for international charges (customer outside Brazil)?
PixGo recurrence is PIX-based, so customer needs a Brazilian bank account. For international customers, alternative is to charge in USDT directly via PixGo Wallet + Crypix.me link.
