You already generate PIX via PixGo and want to sell MORE. Not magic — it's process. This guide has 10 practical tips: how to present checkout, anticipate customer doubts, scale to My Store, track recovery, use affiliates.

TL;DR
  • Use My Store (branded checkout) instead of standalone QR — the customer sees your brand before paying
  • Anticipate: "you'll see the intermediary bank as receiver, that's normal"
  • Clear QR description: "Course X — Mary Silva", not "Payment"
  • Automatic email recovery: abandoned customer gets reminders at 15min, 1h and 24h
  • Use affiliate program: refer other sellers and earn part of PixGo's profit on their transactions
  • Diversify payers: many customers depend less on each one's bank limits
  • YOUR site/Instagram needs PixGo, not just WhatsApp

10 practical tips to boost sales with PixGo.

1. Set up My Store with your brand

The standalone QR (/depix) is OK for casual sales. For professional selling, use My Store: create checkout at pixgo.org/pay/YOUR_ID with your logo, description, social media. Customer sees your brand before PIX → trusts more → converts more.

  • Go to /minha-loja → Store Settings (My Store requires a registered company and an active PixGo Key in API Keys → Request access)
  • Upload logo (PNG 200x60px, transparent bg)
  • Fill description (1-2 lines)
  • Add Instagram / WhatsApp Business / website link
  • Save — checkout lives at pixgo.org/pay/YOUR_ID

Your customer pays a regular PIX and the money arrives as DePix in your own wallet. See how the PixGo PIX gateway works.

2. Use clear descriptions in QRs

QR with description: "Course X — Mary Silva" converts more than QR "Payment". Customer sees this in their bank app, confirms intent, pays.

3. Anticipate the receipt-name warning

Customer pays and bank shows a yellow "recipient not recognized" alert. Customer hesitates.

"When you pay, you'll see the intermediary bank as receiver. That's normal: it's the payment institution that processes the PIX for us."

Customer who knows won't worry. See details in Bank flags scam.

4. Automatic email recovery (Store)

Cart Recovery runs automatically on every My Store — no setup needed. When customer abandons checkout, the system fires emails at T+15min, T+1h and T+24h on its own.

To track sent emails and recovery rate: the Sales Funnel menu (/funil-recovery).

5. Use affiliate program

Know other sellers who get paid via PIX? Refer PixGo through the affiliate program. You earn 10% of PixGo's profit on each transaction of the people you refer, as long as they stay active.

  1. Panel → Affiliates menu (automatic activation, no approval)
  2. Copy your referral link
  3. Share it with people who also sell
  4. Commission is calculated automatically and paid in DEPIX on D+1 of your referrals' transactions (R$10 minimum accumulated)

Advantage: no fixed cost — the commission comes out of PixGo's profit, not your pocket. If what you want is people selling for you, register sellers under Team: the charges they generate are credited to your account.

6. Diversify payers

Your tier rises with total received, not with the number of customers. But selling to many different customers helps: the payer's bank and payment institutions may apply their own limits to each payer, and a diversified base depends less on any single customer.

Strategy: instead of pushing 1 customer to pay R$5k, prefer 5 customers paying R$1k each — less chance of hitting the payer limit.

7. Put PixGo on YOUR site/Instagram

  • Instagram bio link: use Linktree or direct
  • Website/landing: "Buy now" button → PixGo link
  • WhatsApp Business catalog: each product links to checkout
  • Instagram/TikTok stories: "buy here" sticker → bio link
  • Paid ads (Meta/Google): lead direct to checkout

8. Large amounts: respect the limits

Each charge goes up to your tier's cap (R$300 at the start, rising as the account receives). If the sale amount is above that cap, you can split it into more than one charge.

  1. Tell the customer the payment will be in parts
  2. Generate the charges in sequence
  3. Customer pays one, confirms, pays the next

Careful: the payer's bank and payment institutions may apply their own limits, and splitting the sale doesn't get around them.

9. Track metrics (don't guess)

Dashboard has analytics: conversion, average amount, time to payment, abandonment by stage. Check weekly:

  • Conversion < 60%? Something blocks decision → test price/description/copy
  • Low avg amount? Offer upsells/bundles
  • Abandonment at "read QR description"? Reformulate description
  • Recovery email converting > 15%? Good traffic, scale

10. Position "self-custody" as advantage

Almost no seller can explain to customer that DEPIX goes to self-custody wallet (seller's, not PixGo's). This is DIFFERENTIATOR — sells trust.

"In my operation, I use PixGo + self-custody wallet. Meaning when you pay PIX, I receive it, the next day, in a wallet that ONLY I control (cryptographic key). Doesn't sit in a broker account that can freeze. Safer for business flow."

FAQ sell more

How do I integrate PixGo into my site/online store?

Two paths: (1) My Store link — create a "Pay with PIX" button on your site pointing to pixgo.org/pay/YOUR_ID; works on WordPress, Shopify, Wix, any platform. (2) API v1 — for programmatic integration (generate QR at order time, webhook on payment.completed, etc). See API guide.

How do I track my affiliate referrals?

In the Affiliates menu you track your referrals and commissions (pending and paid). Commission is auto-calculated.

Can I offer PIX discount?

Yes. Create QR with discounted amount and label as "Cash PIX" in copy.

How to accept international sale via PixGo?

International customer doesn't pay PIX (PIX is Brazil only). But they can pay in USDT direct to your Liquid wallet (share Liquid address lq1q...). Crypto converts to PIX for you via wallet swap.
